Current Goal

Tokyo Bullet Train, the Shin-kansen, wants to ride the rails and visit train places, sure. But for 2012, please make tracks for the UBC campus in Vancouver BC for a whistle stop for my daughter.

Please visit and post pictures of trains and rail places visited with the Bullet Train. If it makes it to Japan, wonderful, arigatou gozaimasu. It would be nice to return to San Francisco by May 2004. bthomas

Woo-hoo! Love it when a plan comes together; so pleased the Bullet Train TB has been safely retrieved and will be going home to California! Gives me some hope that just maybe my Flyte of the dragon flyer TBs may yet surface some day too...

I thank aPlant4 and Keats94 for taking the Bullet Train around Vancouver. Thanks too to Dragon flyer for watching my TB at UBC Magic Forest.

Two daughters have come and gone from UBC, and one daughter came back today to campus to catch the Train.

My thanks to all cachers who helped in Bullet Train's journey of 12 years. On release in 2002, it immediately went MIA, but re-appeared 2 months later. It circulated for a year, including a brief tag by myself, then went MIA for 8 years. Remarkable when it re-appeared in BC. Took a couple years to get to UBC, and now Bullet Train will return to California.
