    Back to the Isle of Man. The small bag it was in was grubby and tired-looking which was not showing the coin off to advantage.

    It's now in a brand-new PVC coin holder with a mission card. I hope that helps: I also hope that it helps if I hang on to the coin for another month. Then I'll be able to drop it off several thousand miles west of here.

    Amazing! This geocoin has been on my watchlist for about two years, just in case it was close to my route anywhere. And then it turns up half a mile from my route from work to home.

    So I pounced as soon as I could. 😁

    Let's see if I can add some mileage now.

    I seem to recall that only 100 of these original silver USA Geocoins were made, and I imagine that few of them are available in the wild. Very collectible.
