This day started with many clouds and it looked bad: like rain. Suddenly, the sun appeared and the sky turned nicely blue. We both walked around in the city and the little duck got so excited when Taipei 101 appeared in front of us (see picture). The little duck was happy! It was so adventurous! We visited a nearby cache (GC11J18) and then - up we went in about 30 seconds with the world fastest elevator to the observation deck on floor 89. The little duck took a sunbath (see other picture) and then we went to the outdoor observation deck on the 91st floor.

In the next days, the little one and me, we will go to a Real-Time Systems conference (RTCSA).
And the adventure goes on...

  • Wow! Taipei 101! Big meets little!
  • On the 89th floor Little duck taking a sunbath on the observation deck of Taipei 101 - 383.4 m (1,258 ft) above ground.

What a nice duck! WOW! You come from Michigan! HAPPY!
Had such a great time there @ MSU! Go green! Go white!

I like you, let's travel together for a month or so :)
I see, you have already traveled about 9700 miles... hm, let's boost that a little!
How about... a 15,000 miles trip with me?
I'm going to take you with me to a trip to the other side of the world.
If I can, I'll take you to Taipei 101 (it's in the south, on 25° North) and take a snapshot there with you my little duck in front of one of the tallest buildings of the world... Not sure how big the caches there are.
Probably, we both will fly to Thailand. I'll show you Bangkok. Bangkok has around 14 million people living in the area, so I'm not sure if it's gone work to drop you there inside some cache. (Bangkok is only on 13° North, so much more in the south than Kaiserslautern with 49°).

If everything goes well, I'll take you afterwards with me to the paradise for 2-3 weeks... No, I don't mean Paradise in Michigan (oh, the Upper Peninsula was such a nice place...).
You wanna know more? Hm, let's see if I can upload some pics then... :)
