Mid size coin with heft. Unusual shape in the form of the state of California. The front has no enamel but excellent 3-D metal work. The "background" is mountain and valleys. There is nice rim work and 8 places in the state have highlights. These may be the oldest caches in the state. The reverse has only a slight bit of enamel in the compass rose. The rim work continues and the background metal texture is nice. It says "Golden state geocaching geocoin 35,000 caches" as well as "pick a direction". Available in other metal colors. 2007. Excellent simple state coin. ------------------------------So many of my trackales have been muggled that I only release new GCs as virtuals.
