In memory of our dear friend and webdeveloper Coen Boltjes, who so generously put all of his spare time and a lot of effort in our beautifull site www.geocaching.nl we set free 3 of these memorial coins in places we think he would have liked to go.

    Picked this coin up on our family vacation to Colorado Springs, Co. It has since traveled to Denver and is now in Leesburg Fl. awaiting and appropriate cache.

    This is a great spot that I think your friend would really enjoy. In a state park, great camping, and a great hike on easy family-friendly trails. The cache is a multi, but only two stages (the initial, and the final). Very scenic, very peaceful, and lots of trees, mountains, clean air and wildlife. Good luck in your future travsls, Reintje do Vos !

    We all went camping at Cheyenne Mountain State Park, just south of Colorado Springs, and this is the view from our campsite. Cheyenne Mountain, which is rich in military history, is in the background.
