Vogtland Geocoin

Das ist die erste Personalcoin des sächsischen Cachers El_Rolfo, gefertigt vom damals neuen GeocoinShop, der sie bereits am 18. August 2006 an den Owner auslieferte.

Die Voigtland Geocoin 2006 gab es in drei Editionen zu je 150 Coins in Antik Gold und Silber sowie Black Nickel. Zusätzlich wurde eine LE50-Version in Black Gold gefertigt, die nicht verkäuflich war.

Auf der Vorderseite sieht man das "V" für den Vogtland-Kreis, die Göltzschtalbrücke (die größte Ziegelsteinbrücke der Welt)  und die Rundkirche der Stadt Klingenthal, bekannt für Musikinstrumentenbau und Wintersport.
Die Rückseite zeigt die Heimatkoordinaten der Owner und wandernde Geocacher.
Die Coin ist 38 x 44 mm groß, 3 mm dick und wiegt 24,3 g.

Bei der GC-Meisterschaft habe ich diese Coin im Cottbuser Münzturn 'entdeckt'.
Im Team 'Tief im Westen' durften wir diese außergewöhnliche Sammlung alter Coins bewundern.
Anschließend haben wir uns noch sehr nett mit dem Owner Compubaer unterhalten.
