Personal Geocons der GeoHills.
This is an early personal geocoin by Michigan geocaching pair GeoHills released sometime in 2006. The coin features a photograph of Lake Michigan on the obverse and St. Joseph North Pier Outer Lighthouse on the reverse.
They quote on their account:
Hello Fellow Cachers. GeoHills are Claire and David Hills of Michigan. Our first exposure to caching was Jan. 1, 2005 when out of state relatives took us on a hunt in St. Joseph. The caching bug was dormant for awhile, but at the tail end of our 25th anniversary trip to Scotland in May we grabbed our first cache "Loch Lomond View" and the "fever" came on with a vengeance. We've since left the relatives in double 4 digit dust, and have set a goal of 2000 finds by the second anniversary of that cache.
Claire is a retired Paramedic.
David is a United Methodist Pastor.
We've enjoyed meeting some of our fellow cachers along the way and look forward to meeting many more
So far I have detected only one edition of this coin - Shiny Gold - , and probably there were ~100 coins made.
