Enjoy. Learn about White Nose Syndrom....the worst wildlife desaster in recorded history. Save the bats. When the polar bear dies, you will be sad, when the bats die you will be SORRY!!!! Help now....google and join the fight.
Large coin with heft. The front of the coin has matte enamel and 3-D work. The medallion shows a cartoon-like image of a bat agains nice textured metal work. The rim is done in fern green with raised images of bats on either side. the rim test says "Cave Geocoin By Bat-Bubba". The revers continues with the same type of work. The medallion shows a caver crawling through cave formation. This is done in nise soft enamel colors. The rim is the same fern green and has the same bat images as the front rim. The script says "Visiting Spectacular Places Above & Beyond Ground". Very nice coin (even with the cartoon like artwork, which I do not care for...) 2007
Info on the coin: In mid-2006, he became interested in geocoins and at the end of November 2006, he commissioned the Geocoinshop.de to refine his unfinished design of a personal coin and then produce a coin for him.
Pre-orders were possible from December 2006 via the geocaching forum and at the beginning of January 2007 the coins were shipped, with only a part going to Bat-Bubba (mainly the AE25 in antique nickel).
The majority of the 500 Geocoins in Antique Silver RE150, Nickel RE150, Gold LE75, Antique Gold XLE50 and Black Nickel XLE50 were sold via the shop from Germany.
The 44 x 3.5 mm nickel coin presented here shows a hanging bat in cartoon style on a fine, sandblasted metal background at the front. In the green-filled perimeter ring, CAVE GEOCOIN is written at the top and BY BAT-BUBBA at the bottom, separated by the cacher's signum on the left and right. On the reverse, also in Hardenamel, there is a depiction of a man crawling through a cave passage filled with stalactites.
All around it is the inscription: "VISITING SPECTACULAR PLACES ABOVE & BELOW GROUND".
So many of my trackables have been muggled that I only release new GCs as virtuals. If you do not approve, please leave it in the cache for a cacher who understands. Thanks. KL

Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard my daughter, JMVonFange, was delayed in heading home so we spent the bonus time together comparing our caching statistics including trackables discovered and looking through our geocaching pictures. JM has discovered significantly more trackables that I have mainly because while we were staying home during the pandemic she spent time online and spotted numerous TBs that were being shared virtually on various social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. Thankfully, she still had a few notes that helped guide my search for the same trackables that she had already discovered. After looking at the TB page for each of the TBs that she had discovered, I found that a large number all belonged to several individuals and sent a message to them individually inquiring about permission to log their trackables. This travel bug was on the list that you shared with me.
