2007 Buffalo Wings Geocoin

Am 06. Februar 2007 erschien im Geocaching-Forum die erste Information über diese 3. Geocoin von Buffalo Wings.

Die Geocoin war zum Verkauf und zum Tausch gedacht. Erscheinen sollte sie in den Editionen Antik Gold, Antik Silber und Antik Kupfer. Es gab keine LE-Edition und keine feste Mengenobergrenze.
Am 20. Februar 2007 waren die Geocoins fertig und sein Sohn, Team Sand Dollar, verschickte die bestellten Coins. Eine Woche später gab es die Information, dass insgesamt nicht mehr als 300 Geocoins gemünzt werden.

Auf der Rückseite der 38 x 4 mm großen Geocoin sind Stationen der Karriere des ehemaligen Offiziers bei der Marine abgebildet.
Die kleinen Symbole am linken und rechten Rand stehen für seine Funktionen, links: Boatswain's Mate (Bootsmannsmaat) und rechts Sonarman (Sonartechniker). Das U-Boot ist eines der Schiffe, auf denen er diente. Delfine und Offiziersabzeichen ergänzen die Darstellung.
Umlaufend steht oben das Motto der Marine "ALWAYS ON THE HUNT" und unten USN 1943 - 1970, die Zeitdauer der Dienstzeit von Buffalo Wings in der US-Navy.
Die 33 g schweren Coins kommen fast ohne Farbe aus. Nur die Schriften werden farblich hervorgehoben.
