UPDATE: 9/21/09 MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! Many, many thanks to rakessler for your kindess and generosity in helping this geocoin arrive at it's goal!!!
I am sending this coin to Switzerland in the hopes that it will have a rendezvous with my Mother's penpal. My mother and her penpal starting writing to each other as part of a 1964 high school writing project and have kept in touch all of these years. They have never met. Several years ago I was backpacking around Europe with the goal of meeting her penpal Karl after spending time in England, France, and Italy but had to return home to the United States early due to a death in the family. I am hoping this coin will be more successful than I was!! Please take a picture of it when you drop it off in a cache. Thanks for keeping the coin moving!

Yeah! What an exciting moment! I'm so glad it finally arrived. Rakessler you're the man! It's nice to see the photo of them together with the coin. This has been by far the most interesting trackable I've seen since I started caching. Glad I was watching!
I wonder how many of these actually make it to their destination. They should have some sort of counter on the site to keep a tally.

I have made contact with rakessler and he has graciously agreed to take the coin to my mother's penpal Karl!! I have sent rakessler Karl's phone number and am waiting to hear if they have made contact. It's really very exciting! I will keep this updated as the story unfolds.
