Mid size coin with lots of heft. 1.5 inches 3.5 mm thick 32.6 grams antique silver. 250 coins minted. The front has nice 3-D work. It shows Mercury with a GPS on the top with his miter. The background is done in matte white and blue enamel..He is getting "zapped' on his upraised hand by satellite bolts. The metal rim has script that reads "Per Semaphorum and Satellites Velox Versutus Vigllans" (Through the Semaphores to the Satellites the Fast-Turning Watchful) and "Velox Versufu Vigllans" (swift, skilled, alert). The reverse of this thick coin has the four commercial colors and shows a boot, a car, a bicycle and a snow shoe done in 3-D metal work..The center of the medallion has "dookie' in red enamel. The enamel work is not great but the 3-D work is nice. . An OK coin.
Info on thr coin: Mercury (or Jimmy as well call him) is the mascot of the Canadian Signals branch and is the messenger of the gods. The latin text above him says "From Semaphore to Satellites" and the lower text reads "Swift, Skilled, Alert" which are our mottos. The reverse of the coin shows all of our methods of transportation while caching.
Dookie is a cacher from Alberta Cabada. Designed by dookie,
So many of my GCs have been muggled that I only release new ones as virtuals. If you do not approve of this, please leave it in the cache for a cacher who understands. Thanks. IL

Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard my daughter, JMVonFange, was delayed in heading home so we spent the bonus time together comparing our caching statistics including trackables discovered and looking through our geocaching pictures. JM has discovered significantly more trackables that I have mainly because while we were staying home during the pandemic she spent time online and spotted numerous TBs that were being shared virtually on various social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. Thankfully, she still had a few notes that helped guide my search for the same trackables that she had already discovered. After looking at the TB page for each of the TBs that she had discovered, I found that a large number all belonged to several individuals and sent a message to them individually inquiring about permission to log their trackables. This travel bug was on the list that you shared with me.
