It was nice to see that this cache in a nearby neighborhood had been replaced again, and when we realized that mdawaffe only has 10 holes left in his found date calendar grid, we timed our walk to complete his month of January. Not that it felt like winter at all with the 80° weather! Plenty of muggles were enjoying the afternoon sunshine, but we found a quiet moment to hunt for the cache and once again continued to keep looking beyond the old empty red herring until the prize was in hand. Thanks so much for the find.

Since the other lot was completely full due to a community car show, mdawaffe and I parked here instead for our Lincoln Park walk. Which ended up being helpful because it gave us a second shot at this cache with a trio of muggles hanging out at GZ when we arrived. They were still in the vicinity when we wrapped up our loop around the area, but at least they'd moved and turned enough that our best stealth skills were up to the task. I still can't believe how exciting the 2025 World Series was, and thanks for the fun celebratory series and find!

After a cloudy and cool start to the day, the afternoon was nice and sunny for a walk in the park, and mdawaffe and I enjoyed our outing to collect a few more of the 2025 Dodgers geo-art. We took advantage of a clear window to search for the quick grab, and thanks for the series (halfway done!) and the find.

We'd originally intended to park in this lot, but a community car show was in full swing, so instead mdawaffe and I started our walk in a different corner and returned on foot. Luckily the cache wasn't hidden in the thick of things, so we were able to casually pause and make the find. Shohei is certainly amazing to watch, and thanks for the celebratory series and find!

After watching the ducks and a metal detectorist, mdawaffe and I turned our attention back to caching. We remembered this hide at the busy crossroads, so we were happy to see that although people were coming and going, no one was hanging out in the area. Once the coast was clear, we got our names on the log, and thanks for the cache.

After last year's thrilling game of Dodge-the-Muggles on Easter Sunday, mdawaffe and I had a much easier time today, ha. We only had to wait for one small group to pass us on the walking trail, and then it was a nice and easy find. Thanks!

Last year mdawaffe and I had the bright idea to search on Easter for these hides in the park, so luckily it was much quieter this time around on a random Sunday in January. The weather was lovely, though, and we still had to contend with muggles, of course, but only the geese in the distance were around at this hide. Thanks for the cache!

After figuring out last year that this street and the nearby park don't really connect well for pedestrians, mdawaffe and I just took advantage of the empty lot on a Sunday to geo-park close and swoop in for the find. The large, sharp, and pointy plant guardian managed to get a few licks in, but we extracted the prize and added our names. Thanks!

mdawaffe and I had been on foot on our previous visit, but this time we just swung by in the car on our way to Lincoln Park. We remembered what geo-beacon we were looking for, but we couldn't see it until we were practically on top of it because of the high grasses. The cache itself was in the first place we checked, though, and with the nearby business closed on a Sunday, we didn't have to worry much about stealth. Thanks for the series to entertain us for another year, and thanks for the find.

It was our third go-round of the celebratory series (Go Dodgers!), so mdawaffe and I didn't even look at the GPS as we parked nearby and walked over. Luckily the area wasn't too busy on a Sunday afternoon, and we easily spotted the hide in the expected spot. We quickly stamped and replaced, and thanks for the cache.
