This travel bug has the modest goal to circulate more than five years and to be moved by at least 25 cachers. As of 28-Oct-19 it had survived for 5.2 years but it had been moved by only 4 cachers. How far can it get? Keep it moving!
Please drop it in rural OR Premium Member Only caches. Do not place it in an urban cache or abandon it at a caching event where there is no security. Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts; the bag keeps the trackable clean, protects the number and prevents tangling with other items. Otherwise, take the travel bug anywhere you wish. No permission is needed to leave the U.S.
Travel bug photos are appreciated and will be re-posted here.
Maritime Signal Flag Romeo. International code flags are used to signal between two ships or between ship and shore. They are a set of flags of different colors, shapes and markings which used singly or in combination have different meanings. The flags include 26 square flags which depict the letters of the alphabet, ten numeral pendants, one answering pendant, and three substituters or repeaters. There are 1- through 7-flag signals having standard meanings. This is the flag for the letter R. Used alone it means "I am disabled; communicate with me." (When flown from an aircraft carrier; "Warning; flight operations underway.")

Dropped in a cache along the Withlacoochee River in west central Florida. Now that fall is coming the action on these hiking caches will likely pick up some. Pic of nearby cypress hammock.

So now that the Signal Flag has gathered its miles to Arkansas, I'm grabbing it again. It has now traveled to Florida with me. I'll release it back into the wild soon.
