About This Item

Owl Farmtagz

This was a metal trackable tag bearing an image of a Barn Owl on one side and the tracking number etched on the reverse. Sadly a geocacher retrieved it and then never dropped it off anywhere. Despite many messages, they did not reply so I have put out a copy instead. This one will hoot at you if you press the button. A keyring is attached that provides information about the mission for those geocachers who don’t have instant internet access out in the woods.

The Barn Owl is a stunningly beautiful bird with golden/buff coloured upper parts laced with silver grey and white under-parts. It has a distinctive white heart shaped face and when seen in flight the overall impression is of a large white bird.

If you pick up this TB, please follow the geocaching etiquette and log that you have retrieved it. Take it on your travels, then when you are ready, put it in a nice cache, and log that you have. Thanks and happy caching.
