I retrieved this trackable at a nice TB hotel in Edmonton, Alberta Canada a few days ago. I normally look over the TBs to pick and choose. If they happen have a mission, I’ll either complete it or at least help it along the way. Otherwise I’ll leave it behind. The weather there was so ridiculously cold (it was -8* Fahrenheit, or -21* with the wind chill), that I couldn’t check anything. My fingers were painfully cold. As such, I grabbed a handful of TBs, left a few, took some pictures and moved on. Wasn’t until I got back to our hotel to do write ups and look at my loot that I discovered this TB wants to go to places named “Paris”. Oops! LordMobley travels a lot! However, I will not be going to Paris, at least not anytime soon. So I’m leaving this TB at a cache across the street from the Thurston County Fairgrounds. It’s hidden in the ground underneath a fake tree stump. Good luck and happy travels!

Yelm, Washington. USA.

The trackables are pictured with the Yelm Dairy Queen in the background. I sure would love to go in there! In my younger days I would have too and come out with a chocolate milkshake in one hand and an ice cream covered brownie in the other. Can’t do that kind of stuff anymore! Apparently one builds up a sugar intolerance with age and I have to watch what I eat now. Darn!

This is also ground zero for the cache. It’s hidden in the whiteish colored rock, about 4 places down from the top. It’s in the center of the pictured wall. That rock is loose and comes out, but the cache is not behind it as you would guess. They drilled a hole into the rock and inserted a capsule. The rock is the host to this cache. This was very difficult to find and I almost gave up!

LordMobley? Perhaps I should change my screen name to LordDummy? I forgot my laptop charging cord on the airplane ride home yesterday. Found some online, but the delivery would not be in time for my big vacation this coming weekend. So, I called all the stores around town in search of a replacement. Everyone is sold out! Apparently there are lots of dummies that forget their charging cords! I did finally locate one, with my punishment being having to drive all the way out to Yelm Walmart to get it-and I did. As long as I’m out here, might as well get a cache.
The trackables are pictured at a nearby local park and the cache is about 100’ to the left on the chain link boundary fence. It’s a magnetic on the fence post.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Royal Alberta Museum. (RAM).
The museum is fabulous with lots of beautiful displays! We really enjoyed it!
This cache is a fake electrical box outside attached to a fence. It is so ridiculously bitter cold outside, I didn’t want to take the trackables out of my backpack out there.
So they are pictured at one of the many nice displays within the RAM instead.

Retrieve It from a Cache 2/2/2025 LordMobley retrieved it from Up With Seniors! TB Hotel Alberta, Canada   Visit Log

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
I retrieved this trackable at a TB hotel cache at the senior center.
What would normally be an easy find under regular conditions, becomes extremely difficult in these bitter cold temperatures. This ammo can cache was completely submerged and concealed under snow cover. Luckily I spotted a cable tether and got it from its hiding spot down in the snow. Next problem was the lock. It was frozen shut (it’s -7* Fahrenheit; -22* with the windchill). My son and I took turns holding the frozen metal padlock in our hands until it thawed enough to allow the combo numbers to spin. Then some more to allow the shackle to open. Our efforts paid off, but our hands were painfully cold.
The TBs are pictured in front of the center. The cache is on the porch in the background. I picked up several and left a few here.
