Shiff ahoi! Gute Reise.
EN:
This little sailing boat is called the "Hanseat". This word describes the rich cititzen of one of the towns of the hanseatic league. We chose this name as this boat starts its journey in Warnemünde, the harbour city of the hanseatic town of Rostock.
We are a small family of geocachers on a cruise through the Baltic and North Sea for a weeks time. our mini cacher is just to turn three and a half years, but he yet loves boats and ships a lot. For this reason, we decided to release a little trackable boat in each harbour on our tour.
The "Hanseat" is one of five similar boats that carry out a boat race with each other. Really, it is more like a rally to Hamburg - as each of the boat starts on a different place, It is not fair to eavery boat, as the the bats will start one after another each day and the distance to Hamburg will differ significantly. Starting points, dates and boat names in the race are:
1) TB7DQV6 "Hanseat" in Warnemünde on 7th of october 2017
2) TB84H4R "Lille Havfrue" in Copenhagen on 8th of october 2017
3) TB84H2K "Eriksberg" in Gotenburg on 9th of october 2017
4) TB84H4P "Dyna Fyr" in Oslo on 11th of october 2017
5) TB84H5C "Lyse Troll" in Stavanger on 12th of october 2017
Goal: The ship that first arrives in a geocache on the shore of Hamburg, Germany wins the race!
Please take this ship with you and carry it along if you can bring it closer to of Hamburg. We would like if you attach any photos of this little boat, its geocaches on the way, the sea and yourself (if you like) to your log.
Ship, ahoi! Take care.
