Missione attuale

To travel far and wide, getting the most mileage,

so that I beat the other Dartmoor National Park Haytor Rocks coins in the race!

I need to have the most mileage by some time later this year (I'll update the info when I have it) - oh - and to not get lost or stolen on the way!

Please help me on my way by logging quickly, and placing me in another cache as soon as possible. It would really help to be in an easily accessible cache (high D/T ratings aren't ideal here), and one that is visited often - that doesn't have a poor record with trackables. This could be a premium member cache (but doesn't have to be - I just don't want to get lost).

I'd like to return to my owner during 2017 so we can visit Dartmoor together - but for now, let the race begin!

The race coin

I am part of the Dartmoor 2016 Geocoin race, the third of its type, where the aim is to travel the furthest distance by some point in 2016 (when I have more information, I will update the details).

The rules are quite simple: the coin should be placed in a geocache for the next cacher to find. Please move the coin on as quickly as possible - and as far as possible! The coin to have travelled the furthest wins!

My owner was lucky enough to win the 2016 race - not that she's competitive at all! As an added incentive, she would like to meet people who have helped me on my journey during the Devon UK Mega 2017 - and there will be a gift for the cacher who returns me to her during the Devon UK Mega (this is so I get back - her two previous coins are still travelling).

Dropped at the 14th November 2017.
Sadly the cachehotel had to be closed short after for a while.
But today, 4th April 2018, the hotel reopened and the owner placed the coin back in. :-)
