No permission is needed to leave the U.S. While in the U.S., please drop it in a Premium Member only OR a rural cache near a busy trail or road. Do not place it in an urban cache or abandon it at a caching event where there is no security. Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts; the bag keeps the trackable clean and dry, protects the number and prevents tangling with other items. Otherwise, take the trackable anywhere you wish.
This “Bear” series of travel bugs are each named for fictional bears of literature, comic books, cartoons, mythology and animated shorts or features.
Iorek Byrnison is a sentient male armored bear in the epic trilogy of fantasy novels by Philip Pullman. Like all armored bears, Iorek follows a very strict code of conduct, and will not, in any situation, betray a promise he has made. He possesses incredible strength, and like many of his kind is an expert metalsmith. He is a great friend and comrade to both Lyra Belacqua and Lee Scoresby around whom the stories revolve.
