If you have “discovered” this Travelbug, it is most likely connected to our Block Party, which we are hosting on September 20, 2025, in Kamnik, Slovenia. Perhaps you saw or met me there at the main event or one of the many side events. Or maybe the tracking code came into your possession some other way (e.g. trading card).

I am part of the organizing team for the Kamnik Block Party 2025. My main job is to translate all texts related to the events in Kamnik from Slovene into German and assist the participants from German speaking countries.

Otherwise, I am a very passionate geocacher who has already set several records in Slovenia. For example: first Slovenian to find all 20 existing cache types, cache owner with the most favorite points in Slovenia, and finder with the most logged favorite points. In Slovenia, I am also known as a very dedicated FTF hunter, and I have been leading this statistic for quite some time (more than 800 in Slovenia at the moment, my goal is to get to 1000 Slovenian FTFs).

But I also really enjoy hiding my own treasures and organizing special events. For 10 years now, I have been organizing a meeting between Slovenian and Austrian geocachers on the Old Loibl Pass, right on the border between Austria and Slovenia. It is the only event in Slovenia that has taken place every year without interruption for 10 years and therefore enjoys cult status. Maybe you'll come along sometime ... Happy caching!
