Zaterdag 21 maart 2026, CNE-event dag in Amersfoort.

In de eventhal lopen we OmeErik tegen het lijf. We kende hem nog niet. En toch ontspon een leuk en fijn gesprek. Als dank voor ons Geocaching Volunteer- werk (vertaler) mochten wij een prachtige woodie in ontvangst nemen. Dank voor de mooie woorden en we ontmoeten elkaar vast nog wel eens.

Today at the event in Heidelberg I briefly crossed paths with “OmeErik” and received a lovely woodie with a special message. Thank you for that! For the woodie as well as the compliment that I just saw while discovering the item. So I’m more than happy to discover this TB, and I hope our paths cross again soon.

Den Owner habe ich schon mehrfach persönlich auf Events getroffen. Meist waren es nur ein paar Worte zur Begrüßung, die gewechselt wurden.
In Mendig erlebte ich OmeErik im Orga-Team der Eventreihe "Tanz auf den Vulkanen" als einen Cacher, der ruhig und mit Übersicht seine jeweiligen Aufgaben erledigte und dabei immer ein freundliches Wort für die Eventbesucher hatte.
Überrascht war ich, als mich OmeErik mitten auf dem Platz ansprach und mir mit sehr netten Worten eine Kopie dieser besonderen Woodcoin überreichte.
Habe vielen Dank für diese nette Geste, an die mich dein kleines Geschenk immer erinnern wird.
