Sock has now been replaced with a new sock on the copy tag (and I forgot to take a new picture, Durr!). Sock's mission is now to return from his travels to the UK (and me).

I love socks and I recently read a description of a cache where you were meant to drop off 'useless' and 'nasty' things, which specifically included bright socks, with some shock and horror. Bright socks are great, and opening my sock drawer is like the bit in the film Pulp Fiction where the guy opens the case up and his face is all lit up... Anyhow, I knit this wee chap to attach to a travel bug to spread the joy of socks throughout the globe. If any knitters find him, I would love to hear what you are knitting.
The original sock travelled many miles before being picked up by somebody who tried out caching and lost interest, without releasing my TB. No use bitching about it. The replacement sock is now live and being released in the Falkland Islands, hopefully to hop it's way back to the UK.
