This geocache had become archived recently and I was made aware by Bowiewhist that they had only placed the trackable inside Nifty at Fifty the day before it was disabled and subsequently archived. Bowiewhist had been in geoconversation with my whilst visiting Herefordshire regarding her geo-adventures in the county- some of which included mine.
Bowiewhist thought it seemed such a shame for this trackable to be lost forever and so contacted me in the hopes I could help as she lived over 3hrs away. Having decided to go and retrieve this trackable, my husband and I ventured out today based on the description from the archived cache and Bowiewhist's advice on where best to park. It took a good tug to retrieve the tub from said host tree, but it was worth it knowing this little Toy car which has been travelling the world since 2006 is now safely back on the road again. Perhaps little Bettle Beetle will find her way to the like's of Germany and Russia, just a couple of the destinations she is keen to reach.
I will be hoping to go geocaching in the next couple of weeks and plan to 'park' her up where she can be happily on her way again in no time. Beep beep.
