Connecticut Geocoin

Im Herbst 2005 gestalteten Brywalker und Dustiano (beide nicht mehr aktiv) die erste Connecticut Geocoin, um ihren Heimatstaat zu feiern, in dem am 15. September jenes Jahres der 1000. Cache gelegt wurde.

Eine limitierte Auflage von 1000 Geocoins umfasste Bronze (400), Silber (300), Gold (200) und fortlaufend nummeriertes Gold mit Farbe (100).

Diese Coin gehört zu der fortlaufend nummerierten Goldauflage. Die 44 x 4 mm große und recht schwere Geocoin zeigt auf der Vorderseite 2 Wanderer in einer offenen Landschaft, darüber die Umrisskarte des Bundesstaates und die Jahreszahl 2005.

Auf der Rückseite ist eine leicht geöffnete Ammobox mit dem farbigen Groundspeaklogo zu sehen.

Heute mal wieder ein paar Bilder im Handy in Discoverlogs umgewandelt.
Das mache ich eigendlich viel zu selten.

Deine Sammlung hab ich am 26.7.25 auf dem Vulkan gesehen.
Es war toll auch teil dieser Ausstellung gewesen zu sein :-)
Gab ja viel zu sehen und nun kann ich es auch mal Online nachtragen.
