Mid size coin with med heft. 1.25 inches 3.5 mm thick mm polished nickel. 500 coins minted. This coin has lots of nickel colored shine. The finish is easily scratched. This coin shows signs of scratching while in personal possession. The front has slight 3-D. The medallion has commercial logo and color. The rim has mint hues of matte enamel. The center of the medallion says "allwayslooking_99". The artwork is art deco. The reverse has a mirror image of the colors and enamel work. The medallion script that says "99 Its how you hide it that counts" and MPSJAG". 2006.
Info on the coin: ~Keeping with the team's motto...It's how you hide it that counts. The simplicity of the coin represents that a cache does not need to be elaborate or complex to be satisfying. When looking at the simplest of caches or designs you can find something innately beautiful and rewarding.
A nice coin but easily damaged.
Note: Groundspeak named this coin incorrectly as "alwayslooking geocoin" (one L) and once they make an error on a geocoin name, they seem unable to fix it. I mention it here strictly for the benefit of the search engines.
The geocoin has an edition of 500 pieces, of which 400 coins would be offered for sale in the geocoinstore.
allwayslooking_99 describe their personal coin as follows: The simple, clean lines often used in Art Deco designs inspired us to create our personalized coin. True to our motto "It depends on how you hide it". The simplicity of the coin stands for the fact that a cache does not have to be elaborate or complex to be satisfactory. If you look at the simplest caches or designs, you can find something inherently beautiful and worthwhile.
So many of my GCs have been muggled that I only release new ones as virtuals. If you do not approve, please leave it in the cache for a cacher who understands. Thanks. AL

Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard my daughter, JMVonFange, was delayed in heading home so we spent the bonus time together comparing our caching statistics including trackables discovered and looking through our geocaching pictures. JM has discovered significantly more trackables that I have mainly because while we were staying home during the pandemic she spent time online and spotted numerous TBs that were being shared virtually on various social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. Thankfully, she still had a few notes that helped guide my search for the same trackables that she had already discovered. After looking at the TB page for each of the TBs that she had discovered, I found that a large number all belonged to several individuals and sent a message to them individually inquiring about permission to log their trackables. This travel bug was on the list that you shared with me.
