area wasn't really that amazing but this was probably the first cache I had to call someone to verify the coordinates and hunt for with my keychain light.

Wonderful view of Calgary. Walked from the city, over the bridge, up a very tall flight of stairs.  Magic view at sunset.

City Lights

First time I really had to think in 3D.  Fantasic location.

Cliffs Edge, Maui

This would have been a park and grab... if I didnt have to drive two hours from Columbus, OH to get to it.  But I needed a W. Virgina cache.  Turns out to been a interesting hunt because of the hills and trying to find a road to get there.

EAGLE'S VIEW

Gotta love a cache that turns out to be a surprise.  After finding the cache, had a sandwich and visited for a while with some really nice people.  

East Side Travel Bug Hotel

creative hiding spot, the view over the valley and lake were worth the drive from LA. 

Elsinore Lookout Cache

Everything was Green,  the Trees, the Rocks, the trail.  Everthing.  And the container is a 5 gallon bucket in a really large tree stump.

Fern Forest

This letter box is a fun story to lead you around a nice park, ultimately to the hiding spot. 

First Sister

This was a creative way to have a multi cache without impacting the area.  And the flock of wild turkeys I had to make my way around to complete the trail was cool.

Herrick Lake Audio Exchange

If for no other reason than I had to sit and wait for the fog to lift so I could see the towers....  but I got the FtF.

High Five

Uphill from the Cruise ships,  good view of the port and the ships.  Next to a historic Russian Orthodox Church.  I had a great talk with the pastor there and a personal tour of the church.  

Juneau Coin & Token Reserve

Man that is one big hole in the ground.  Did you know that the 20 mule team was actually 18 mules and two horses....  they Lied to us.  Nice lady at the Info Center. 

Kramer Borate Deposit Earthcache

Original road that became Route 66.  A walk up the mesa and a look around.  Fantastic.  I do recommend bringing water with you (unlike me).

La Bajada

This was serendipity.  We were on a tour and the van stopped at this fall.  Beautiful,  but very very cold water.  I slipped off for a second to log the cache.   

Liberty Falls

This is an interesting virtual, it has all the hallmarks of a truly great cache.  I am looking forward to visiting in the future.
