Fairly isolated area in the valley. Easy find, good for beginners.
The name will make sense when you get there. :) This cache is a camouflaged magnetized Altoids tin (we were feeling original). Only small items will fit inside.
Don't worry if you run into the security guard, he knows about caching and is fine with it. Just let him know why you're there if you see him.

The Central Check is the main bifurcation structure that divides the East Main Canal into the Central Main Canal and the lower East Main Canal. This site is remotely controlled and monitored through the use of SCADA technology. Above this site also resides a YCWUA employee that keeps watch over the area.

Park next to boat ramp and then a short hike to the cache This is a small cache and is very well disguised. You do not have to do any bushwhacking to find this cache. All it takes is an eagle eye and the patience to spend a little time looking. I do hope that you enjoy this hunt and this caching area.This is a Small cache.

This cache (number five in a series of five) is located along the East Main Canal in Yuma's West Valley. Beware of muggles as you find this one. As always, be careful when caching around water.
The Corey Drain is located along the East Main Canal. This drain intercepts groundwater from the Yuma Mesa, the adjacent fields, and any seepage that occurs from the East Main Canal itself. This water is then pumped back into the East Main Canal for use downstream. The pump is powered using the Yuma County Water Users' Association's own high voltage power transmission and distribution system.

Welcome to the Donovan Check! Check structures like this one help the irrigators maintain a necessary elevation of water in order to efficiently water their crops. Adjacent to this check structure is the southern end of the new City of Yuma multi-use path. Enjoy the golfers, but don't let them on to your caching!

Reach around near the star There's no need to disturb any objects to find it.  It's small, and there's not enough room for much more than the log book and pen.  Sign the log, and pat yourself on the back.

Call your mom (or a friend), and ask her to go to www.yuma77.tv/webcam 
She can press the Start Control button (Button 1 below) to control the webcam 
She can select "Bench Cam" (Button 2 below) to point the camera at the cache location 
If you're feeling frisky, run to another location in Old Town that the camera can see, and she can find you 
Hold up your GPS (or the Geocaching logo on the cache container) and smile 
She can press the Snapshot button (Button 3 below) to take a picture of you 
Ask her to e-mail the picture to you, then attach it to your Geocaching.com log
