You turn and look back at the road behind you, it felt like only a moment ago you were walking through the gates of Kingsport. However you know it to have been a week at least, time moves differently here it seems. You continue up the road on the island of Novia. The boat ride from Kingsport was hard and wet. You are enjoying the morning sun on your face when you see a raven, about a half mile out, flying low and fast down the road in your direction. Suddenly an arrow, as black as night, flies from the woods and strikes the raven down. A man dashes from the side of the road and grabs the raven, he turns and flees into a small cemetery.
