The above cords will put you into the lake! Located within each of the following caches is a keeper number. Use that number to fill in the true coordinates of Excalibur. You will need to find all four of these caches to get the true coords.
True Coordinates:
N 40 Merlin.Uther 8
W 83 Arthur.Guinevere 0
EDIT 6/15: It seems the keeper number on Guinevere has been altered somewhat, the 3 should be an 8
History of
Excalibur
Held aloft from the surface of the water by the Lady of the
Lake, clothed in white samite, mystic and wonderful, Excalibur was thus given to
King Arthur. It was a summer afternoon when King Arthur and Merlin rowed across
the lake to first behold the sword. Its hilt was rich with jewels and was said
to protect and heal Arthur in combat. The blade so bright it blinded Arthur’s
foes. On one side was engraved the words “Take me” and on the other the words
“Cast me away.” Arthur was disheartened by those latter words, yet Merlin told
him to take the blade and to strike his foes, the time to cast away was yet
far-off. So Arthur took the elfin blade Excalibur and used in combat to defeat
his foes and help unite Britain. It would indeed be many years before Sir
Bedivere would cast Excalibur back into the lake as one of Arthur’s dying
requests…
