This cache is part of the Tolleshunt Triangle Group of caches. The
series consists of three church micro caches:
GC1Q3M4 Church Micro 573 St Nicholas, Tolleshunt Major
GC1Q3M6 Church Micro 470 St Nicholas, Tolleshunt D’arcy
GC1Q3M8 Church Micro 577 All Saints, Tolleshunt Knights
Each church micro cache can be completed as a stand-alone cache.
Associated with each church micro is a bonus cache which allows for
a short walk. The coordinates for each bonus cache are written on
the back of the related church micro logbook. The three bonus
caches are:

The logbook of each Bonus cache contains part of the coordinates
for a final bonus cache. All three bonus caches will need to be
found to obtain the full coordinates for the final bonus. The final

TOLLESHUNT KNIGHTS
It seems hard to imagine that this area in Norman times
consisted largely of forest and heath. In the late 1100’s the area
became an extension of the Royal Forest of Essex and of Forest Law
over the Thurstable Hundred. Forest law with all its burdens was
enforced until 1309. Gradually, after it was lifted, the forest
with its half-wild pigs was cleared and cultivated. In time sheep
farming became very popular.
Today, Tolleshunt Knights is home to the Greek Monastery and
Five Lakes Golf Course.
TOLLESHUNT TRIANGLE - KNIGHTS BONUS
This is a bonus cache for people who have completed the Church
Micro 577 All Saints Tolleshunt Knights cache (GC1Q3M8) and would
like a small walk in the area as well.
The co-ordinates given are for Tolleshunt Knight Village not the
cache. The actual co-ordinates for the bonus cache will be found in
the church micro cache.
The bonus cache location is a short distance away. We recommend
parking at the waypoint given which is at the start of a footpath
to the cache.
This is a medium lock and lock cache container.
