The second version of my second hide in my cache series celebrating
of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Canton Township decided to
build a walking path right on top of the first cache, so here's
version #2.
They walked for what seemed like at least half an hour, their
robes snagging on low-slung branches and brambles. After a while,
they noticed that the ground seemed to be sloping downward though
the trees were as thick as ever.

Harry and his friends always seem to end up in the Forbidden
Forest, even though it is, as the name suggests, Forbidden. I can
just imagine the kind of geocaches Hagrid would have placed out
there. They'd have add a few stars for peril!
In the Chamber of Secrets, Ron and Harry headed out to the woods,
following spiders, trying to figure out what was petrifying the
students at Hogwarts. Hagrid let them know that if they wanted to
find out something, they should follow the spiders. So they did,
and they were very nearly eaten by them too!
You shouldn't have to worry about spiders eating you, but I'd keep
an eye out for them anyhow. Getting web in the face is never
pleasant! And bring bug spray, because the mosquitoes in this part
of the Forbidden Forest can get pretty aggressive!
There is a number written on the logbook which will enable you to
find The Deathly Hallows. Don't forget it!

Bushwhacking is absolutely
unnecessary. The cache is within 15 feet of a well
defined trail. Please practice Leave No Trace principles, and avoid
destroying what precious resources we have left.
