Your Mother Wears Water Wings-aka V2M SuppleMENTAL Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Greonidas: I don't cache anymore and am not making a trip out there. Considering the expertise of the cachers that have DNF'd this ammo can, I'd say it's safe to assume it's gone.

Geocache Description:

a.k.a. "ValentiNEs2Mom SuppleMENTAL"

What's that? You all miss the ValentiNEs2Mom series? How could you, when so few of you have finished it? Even after the final puzzle to Cache Mommy was put on the main cache page, you STILL haven't found it.

That's okay. I don't blame you. You're probably too busy sitting at home watching Desperate Housewives or Heroes (what fine programming...NOT!).

I created this three-stage multi for those who aren't too busy wearing a butt-groove into their easy chairs and wanted a little bit of adventure.

One word of advice: you may want to keep a caching buddy on call on the mainland. This one's not as straightforward as you might hope.

Here's where I'm going to insert a few warnings, taken from Arnold Evrkachen's Williams Island Cache page:

"I recommend that you use a boat to reach the island.  I believe that is the easiest and safest way to get there.  I put in at the Huguenot Woods parking launch area.  It is on the right bank of the river (directions on the river are given as if you are looking downriver) just upriver from the Huguenot Bridge.

"CAUTION:  On each side of the island there is a dam connecting it to the mainland.  There are warning signs on the island and on the river banks.  Stay away from the dams!  Every year people die ignoring this advice.  Please don't be one of them.  There is a clearly marked portage on the right side of the island that you can use to easily and safely bypass the dam if you want to paddle downriver of it."

There are 3 prizes for the FTF to choose from, and then the STF gets to choose from two, and the TTF gets sloppy thirds. The prizes are a Seal-Line small dry bag, a Chinese 1GB iPod Nano knock-off loaded with CVGA RR4 tracks, and an unactivated TB. NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN THE FTF, STF, AND TTF GROUPS, ONLY THE ONE THAT ACTUALLY SPOTS THE CACHE GETS TO TAKE A PRIZE.

The rest of the largish ammo can contents:
  • carabiner water clip
  • carabiner
  • carabiner flashlight
  • batteries
  • magnetic hide-a-key
  • multi-purpose nylon belt holster
  • small cache container (square)
  • small cache container (bottle)
  • several individul Purell hand sanitizer wipes
  • bottle of Deer Park water
