The coordinates listed were taken at the information stand. The
cache is about one foot from there, and should be easy to find.
While you're here you can read a little about the "Salmon
Protection And Watershed Network".
You might find some "SPAWN" newsletters as well as their record
book inside the information stand, where you can read what others
have observed at this site (and maybe some other things too, it
seems that there are some kids telling a story in the book and some
others telling jokes). If you see anything noteworthy, be sure to
write about it in their book, they would love to know about
whatever you see.
When I came to complete the hide, there was a crew of volunteers
clearing some inappropriate vegetation from around the stream, and
a big stump clogging the ladder at the top. What did you see while
you were here? What was your favorite thing you read in the SPAWN
record book? How many golfers passed by while you were here?
Enjoy this simple micro, and then make a day of it by hiking to
a couple of my favorite "real" caches that are hidden in the hills
surrounding this valley.
