Geocache Description:

This cache was inspired by our Little Red Motorcycle and in memory of Catalina on a Clear Day.

Ever been geocaching and found caches that just had incredibly weird stuff or had appeared to have run down due to people trading down in the cache?

This cache is similar. There's a bunch of junk in it. Well, sort of. Yeah. Actually, most of it's junk, yet all of it was found in other caches.

The difference is most of this stuff could make some interesting travel bugs with the right creativity from the person who picks them up. Most of my own travel bugs started out as Bad Swag in other caches. You find a cache, think, "what a piece of junk," then it hits you. You know, that might make a pretty cool travel bug.

We did that with our Litte Red Motorcycle. We found it in West of Work (#4) in Cedar City, Utah a couple of summers ago. It hung around in our swag bag for a couple of years, then we decided to make a travel bug out of it, but we decided to start it in the West of Work (#4) geocache because that's where we found it originally. Yeah, granted it wasn't really a travel bug at the time, but once it became a travel bug, we thought it would be cool to have some history behind it as to where it was found.

So here's the plan for this geocache. Bring that swag that you've found in other caches that you don't know what to do with and place it here. Take something from here that you think will make a cool travel bug and make a travel bug out of it. We only ask that use this cache as your new travel bug's starting point. We think it would be cool to see where all of that stuff finally ends up after it's gotten its traveling tag and has hit the road. If you're not into travel bugs, take something anyway, and leave something else. Who knows? Maybe somewhere down the road, your trash will become another person's treasure.

Besides the nice hike and pretty good views from up here, you can do a variety of other things as well.
