Geocache Description:

Another cache in the 13 cache series of Dogfort v Catfort

This is Sniper Dog. He is a hero. A few months ago a large Catfort force over ran the area driving Dogfort backwards. But Sniper Dog climbed the church tower you see from the cache and pegged them back. Eventually he took out enough Catfort that they withdrew from the area and let Dogfort recoup.

*crackle* *crackle* Come in Geohounds this is Dogfort, over! OK listen up soldiers. Especially you Geo pups! Catfort are on the attack. The long war between cats and dogs is coming to an end. It's all paws on deck. Each cache will contain a clue to Catforts final location. Once we have all the clues we can make our final attack.

Each cache is named after another of our associates. The hiding place is relevant to their call sign. Come home safe and don't be seen by muggles. I don't want to send a folded doggie blanket home to your kennel. Good luck and god speed.

MAKE SURE YOU NOTE THE NUMBER INSIDE AS IT WILL HELP WITH CATFORT AT THE END

St Marys Church has been providing a place to worship for over 800 years. The north and south transepts were built around 1250AD and the fabulous tower was built around 1315.

It has the unique feature of a war memorial built inside the church commenorating the soldiers of both world wars. The bells have been ringing out for over 500 years and the clock you see was installed for Queen Victorias golden jubilee
