The Grand Union Canal links Birmingham to London with a waterway which is
145 miles long and contains 166 locks. This cache is one of a series to be
found along or close to the Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire stretch of the
canal.
This is another cache set along the banks of the Grand Union Canal in the
area of Northchurch/Berkhamsted.
The co-ordinates above will take you to a micro cache that will reveal the
location of the final cache. You may get to see barges navigating the nearby
lock.
Please take care at the micro cache, the grass is slippery when wet and
the canal is always wet! If you are caching with kids please take extra
care at the micro.
At the final cache you will probably see the trains and if its not too
cloudy maybe a plane on its way into Luton airport.
Initial cache contents were:
2005 Diary
Mini Torch
Sarawak Keyring
Fridge magnet
Logbook & pen.
Happy caching
Padmassana & The Wrinklies
