Lennon and McCartney surrounded by birds.. ehh.. girls.

Description:

Sometimes love can be a devious thing. When is love real? And when is love merely a desire for something else?
In a way the recording of the song ‘Real Love’ and ‘Free As A Bird’ was very emotional for The Beatles; it was almost a quarter of a decade since they all worked together in a studio as a group, not like solo artists. The origin of the reunion is also quite remarkable since the person who’s accused of destroying the group (Yoko) was the one handing over the original Lennon demos to McCartney. Without these there would be no reunion.

The final songs received varied reviews and many claimed that Paul McCartney was taking advantage of the situation by trying to downplay the conflict between him and Lennon. For instance, when finishing the verse in ‘Free as a bird’ McCartney himself wrote the lines “Whatever happened to the life that we once knew? Can we really live without each other?”. Critics claimed that McCartney embellished the situation to his advantage. Well, who has precedence when it comes to love?

Remember, love is all but all is not love.

The Story:

A fictional conversation between Lennon and McCartney:
McCartney: So Johnny what did you do yesterday after we left?
Lennon:
I was looking for birds. Walking the long and lonesome street. Not the very elusive ones you know.
McCartney *laughter* So where did you go then? Martins place?
Lennon:
Never. The girls are too fine for me you know, high class birds. I went to the place right after Martins, don’t remember the name.
McCartney: Your filthy bastard!
Lennon:
Right.. *laughter*
