This cache will bring you out to an underused but beautiful section of the Metacomet trail, part of the Connecticut's Blue Trail System. The parking is a little removed from the trial head so I have included co-ordinates for both in the waypoints section. The trail is initially steep but it levels off and is a pleasant hike for the majority of the distance, There is a section of the trail that gets pretty rocky and requires some careful foot work so we have rated this as a 4 star terrain. We love where the final location takes you, the views are great and there are some fun rocks to scramble around.
