Geocache Description:

The cache is a small container hidden in an old sock which originally contained a pencil, log book and some AA batteries. Redzer hopes you'll be impressed by the beautiful sequoia tree.

Morag and Hamish came to see Redzer after Burn's Night with the very good news that the conservation effort is working and they've had their first wee bairn, Sheena Haggis. Desperate for Sheena to have a safe place to hide, they asked me to find a suitable location for her and I dutifully complied.

The haggises log in quite regularly and love to hear from you. The only thing is that they speak only gaelic or scots english so please bear this in mind when logging your visit!

It’s possible to do all of Redzer’s caches in this area (and Welwyn Woodland) as part of a roughly circular walk. Try parking at N51° 49.133 W0° 12.306, outside a local church. The walk is approximately 6km if you follow the order suggested below:-

Hamish ~ Lightning Tree ~ Googlies ~ Ruari ~ Morag ~ Premier Redz ~ Flora ~ Welwyn Woodland ~ Sheena ~ But’n’Ben ~ Haggises’ Home
