Geocache Description:

At this Ancient Marvel you are looking for a small camo'd lock-and-lock box.

Having first discovered the "Stonehenge of Santa Cruz" near the UCSC campus, we scouted further and found spots resembling other ancient marvels, at least in OUR minds! We hope that you will search for all of the hides we planted here: a multi, a puzzle and some traditionals of varying sizes.

The ancient Romans typically constructed numerous aqueducts to serve any large city in their empire, as well as many small towns and industrial sites. The city of Rome itself, being the largest city, had the largest concentration of aqueducts, with water being supplied by eleven aqueducts constructed over a period of 500 years. Scholars can even predict the size of the city by its water supply. They served potable water and supplied the numerous baths and fountains in the city, as well as finally being emptied into the sewers, where they performed their last function in removing waste matter.

To access these caches, you can park in the West Remote Parking Lot #127 on weekends and holidays for free or there are meters in Parking Lot #162~~bring your quarters!
