The cache container is a cylinder, slightly thinner and taller than
a 35 mm film canister.
This cache is part of a series of caches highlighting places that
have excellent Christmas
light
displays.
Upper Hastings Ranch has become one of the most popular areas
for neighborhood outdoor Christmas displays. The practice began in
1957. Each block of the area competes, creating displays with a
common theme.
Upper Hastings Ranch is bordered by Michillinda Avenue to the
East, Sierra Madre Blvd. to the South and Riveria Drive to the
West. From the 210 Freeway, take Michillinda Blvd. North to the
lights.
The cache should be out of the way enough that you can access it
regardless of the time of year.
