Geocache Description:

The curse* has arrived! (Or has it always been here....?)

If you are the FTF for this cache, you are cursed (i.e. invited) to place the next "The Curse of the FTF (Tasmania)" cache in this series. Here’s what I’ve been thinking about the First to Find (FTF) aspect of this game lately...
a) I absolutely love going after FTFs (but usually only when they are a bit clever or in “my” neighbourhood).
b) At the same time, I usually hate how hard it is for me to resist the lure of a FTF, especially when I’ve got plenty of other more important things to do.
c) I can imagine that for some punters, the FTF experience is mostly what caching is all about, but I’d still prefer to see the FTF love shared around a bit more.

I spent ages trying to work out a way to hide a cache with a built in disincentive for the FTF or at least have a way of encouraging the FTF love to be shared around, and then...

I stumbled across a “Curse of the FTF” cache and realised that it is not only a virus (that’s sweeping the world faster than Swine flu), but also the answer to my desire to see FTF opportunities shared around. The guidelines for this series are based on, but not exactly the same as, some of the others that I have seen.

The guidelines:
1. If you are the FTF for this cache, you are cursed (i.e. invited) to place the next "The Curse of the FTF (Tasmania)" cache in this series within two (2) months.
2. You are cursed (i.e. invited) to NOT find make any other FTF attempts until you have placed the next cache in this series.
3. To share the FTF love around, you are cursed (i.e. invited) to only be a FTF for this series once.
4. Caches in this series can be of any type (e.g. traditional, puzzle, multi, etc.) and must be hidden in Tasmania.
5. You are cursed (i.e. invited) to include this set of guidelines in your cache description, and include the list of any/all who have been cursed before you.
6. (*) Note: All curses used in the production of this cache are entirely fictitious. There is no real curse preventing you from claiming the FTF for this cache, or any cache in this series.

Now, on with the description for this cache...

From the suggested parking coordinates, there is a return circuit that will take you to the cache.
