This is part of a series of caches set around the border of the parish of Old Warden, Bedfordshire
At each point where a road breaks through the boundary to enter the parish a cache has been placed. In the log book for each of these caches there is a piece of information which can be used to locate a bonus cache: The Interior.
Old Warden parish has a website at https://www.bedsparishes.gov.uk/old-warden-parish-council/. The parish is home to the Shuttleworth Collection which is an aeronautical and automotive museum located at the Old Warden Aerodrome.

Turning from Hill Lane into Gypsy Lane means you are turning into Old Warden Parish. Until recent years this was the scene of many lorries coming and going in association with the quarry works but the land is now being returned to agricultural use.
