Hi-5ers: Our parish perimeter series have now been around for a good while and are being retired. Some of the more popular caches will remain as stand-alone caches but this one is being archived.

This is part of a series of caches set around the border of the parish of Southill, Bedfordshire
At each point where a road breaks through the boundary to enter the parish a cache has been placed. In the log book for each of these caches there is a piece of information which can be used to locate a bonus cache: The Interior.
Southill parish has a website at https://www.bedsparishes.gov.uk/southill-parish-council/. The parish includes Southill Park, former home of the Byng Family (including the notoriously court-martialled and executed Admiral John Byng, buried in Southill Church) and currently owned by the Whitbread brewing family, having been sold to Samuel Whitbread in 1795.
The full list of caches in this series is below.
We hope you enjoy this series and get a feeling for the varied nature of this parish.
Here the road from Shefford enters Southill parish on its way towards Ireland. This hamlet was supposedly named after the teams of Irish workers who built the (now closed) railway.
