This is part of a series of caches set around the border of the parish of Southill, Bedfordshire
At each point where a road breaks through the boundary to enter the parish a cache has been placed. In the log book for each of these caches there is a piece of information which can be used to locate a bonus cache: The Interior.
Southill parish has a website at https://www.bedsparishes.gov.uk/southill-parish-council/. The parish includes Southill Park, former home of the Byng Family (including the notoriously court-martialled and executed Admiral John Byng, buried in Southill Church) and currently owned by the Whitbread brewing family, having been sold to Samuel Whitbread in 1795.
The full list of caches in this series is below.
We hope you enjoy this series and get a feeling for the varied nature of this parish.
This cache is the final one in the "Parish Perimeter - Southill" series. By now you should have travelled around collecting a clue from each cache and got a good idea of what the parish is like. Now it's time to travel into the interior of the parish.
The headline co-ordinates mark the location of Southill Park, a private residence which is sometimes open as part of the National Garden Scheme. It is NOT where the cache is located. To find it you need to go to the following place.
