Stargate P61149 TB Cache Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

Time for some Autumn clean-up before the snow begins to fall.

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of a timely response to a prior Reviewer Note and/or because the Cache Owner has not been online for several months. If the owner would like to have it reinstated, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

A Stargate has been discovered on the edge of an undeveloped wetlands tract in southwest Anchorage. Enter the wilderness at the orange marker commemorating a prior journey. Tread lightly – practice CITO – beware of very large ungulates (moose) left behind to guard the Stargate!

Rehide the cache well - muggles use the trails here often - care in replacing will keep it from being seen by the casual walker.

This cache is within 50 yards of the sidewalk. Access is from on-street parking along Strawberry Rd, or from a nearby bus stop on PeopleMover Route 7 (150 yards distant, with service every 45 minutes, direct-linked to the downtown Bus Center and the Dimond Center’s Bus Transfer Station).

Travel Bugs (TBs) left at this cache with attached or logged instructions routing it to a valid Stargate address (see below) will be transported directly to that specified Stargate TB Cache. For example: if “P2681” is included in the log entry or on a tag attached to the TB, that TB will be routed to Stargate P2681 TB Cache. If the TB is left without a valid Stargate address, it will be available for local movement via Last Frontier cachers, or to destinations such as its stated goals indicate. If a TB owner doesn’t want their TB to travel the Stargate network, quickly contact me (NorthWes) to revoke its traveling orders and assign it to local duties. Stargate movement is recommended only for those TBs needing transcontinental movement assistance to further their goals.
