The challenge of this bug is for cachers to help him travel around, and to get him into strange and unusual situations. Don't forget to post pictures!
This bug was once a beloved childhood toy called Omnibot. When I was a kid in the late 70's - early 80's, this was a really technologically advanced toy. I recently tried to refurbish it for my daughter, with zero success. The next best thing I could think of was a travel bug.
Keep in mind, this is a HUGE travel bug (see pictures below). In some situations it may be best to leave him near the cache, rather than in it. If you do this, make sure to hide him a bit, so that he doesn't give away the cache location. This would be a good bug to trade at cache events, etc. Have fun with him.

This TB is no longer in the Road to Utah cache. I think the cacher on May 12th picked it up in exchange for a coin I found today.

What a travel bug! Finding one so big and deciding what to do with it was a lot of fun! The camo paint was a good idea. Took it from Doggy Diner and created a cache along I-84 on the route from Boise to Utah. Good luck CacheBot!

The monsterbot has been adopted into a house of cats and dogs, and seems to have made himself at home. We usually only have orange pets, but thought the camo set off the orange nicely. See picture of Maddie (dog) and Cat Ballou with Bot. We hope he stays but fear he has wanderlust. Time will tell...
