About This Item

Flysaa Travel Bug

In December 2002, I fulfilled a lifelong dream of taking a trip to Africa. I traveled with an astronomical tour group that visited South Africa to witness the total solar eclipse of December 4, 2002. I took lots of pictures but brought back very few souvenirs.

I somehow managed to keep several of those pre-moistened refresher hand towels that were passed out along with the meals on the 15+ hour flight from Atlanta to Johannesburg, South Africa. Since this little souvenir already traveled with me more than halfway around the world I thought I would turn one into a travel bug and see what other parts of the world it could visit.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Jack Rabbit Slim for doing a wonderful repair job on this bug. I had about given up hope this bug would ever make it to either goal after reading some of the previous logs about how bad of shape it was in. Jack Rabbit Slim contacted me and offered to repair Flysaa and then send it back on its way. He did a great job and sent me a few photos of the new Flysaa and posted here.

Thanks for your efforts and your kindness. Good luck in all your caching endeavors.

Mr. TSP

It produced frowsy smell😮 and I decided to throw away the towel. Then wash the package and drop it into another cache.
