Okie Air Force F-35 Joint Strike
Fighter
This is the first of the second wing of the
Okie Air Force, which was formed to escort the OAF
SR-71 Blackbird on it's mission. This F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, along
with another state of the art aircraft, the F-22
Raptor, are tasked with a mission to Central Texas to find and escort
the SR-71 on its missions north, then to return to the LostTexans mothership
for its next mission.
The Okie Air Force
The first wing of the Okie Air Force was formed in 2004, and it's original
mission was for the SR-71
Blackbird to fly by the Wright-Patterson museum, then a quick flyby
of the Oshkosh, Wisconsin airfield. Once done with these missions,
the Blackbird is to commence on a barnstorming tour of airfields all over,
then finally a flight back to the LostTexans mothership in Oklahoma and
retirement with honors. The wing consists of the Blackbird, an F6F
, an F-16
, and an A-10
.
The SR-71 was released in Central Texas, along with the F6F. The
A-10 was released in North Texas, and the F-16 was launched atop the highest
hill in the world, in Oklahoma. The F-16 and the A-10 flew on ahead,
but the Blackbird appears grounded in Central Texas.
