    22 year Air Force fighter pilot with a Marine grandson headed for the Middle East; my heart is heavy for my friends who served with me & are not with us anymore. This tribute means an awful lot (especially on this 4th of July). So many Americans fail to realize that freedom reqires a cost; it is unattainable without price; sometimes it is lives.
