After leaving Orick, California this Travel Bug visited the Lady Bird Johnson Grove and marveled at the size of the trees. It then saw Big Tree, in the Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park, and that is one BIG tree! From there the Travel Bug went North along US-101 through Crescent City, California and on to Seaside, Oregon.

This Travel Bug climbed to an altitude of about 1.4 miles above sea level (!) to reach Crater Lake National Park. It was a beautiful evening on the West side of the crater.
